How switching from Teachable works

Moving is free for every school, and your old school stays live until you switch.

Switching to Courster · Updated 15 Oct 2026

Moving is free, and there's nothing to pay until you sell. Every school can move itself with Courster Mover and the import report. Schools selling $2,000 or more a month on their old platform also get a named person at Courster who does the move with them (terms).

The steps

  1. Book a call (hands-on moves). We agree a date range for the move and name the person who'll do it with you. Moving self-serve? Start from Move to Courster in your dashboard.
  2. Export your school. You download your Users and Transactions CSV exports, and run Courster Mover, our browser extension, on your own computer while you're signed in to your school. We never ask for your password or API key.
  3. We rebuild it. You get an import report showing what came over, what needs a hand and what couldn't move, before anything goes live.
  4. Invite your students. One email from you, in your school's name, with a sign-in link.

While you move

Your Teachable school keeps running until you cancel it yourself. Courster never logs in to it. While we're moving your school, your support requests are treated as priority.

Fees after you switch

The move itself is free. After that you pay the normal Courster fee on sales. Plus card processing fees.
